...so this is what it would be like to rave in a land of super heroes and computer game characters, I'd always wondered.

LOD123 responds:

Not exactly what I was going for, but the beauty of music is that it's open to interpretation. And that is the best interpretation of a song I have ever heard. Thanks dude!

Perfect fir for something

I like it a lot, it could definitely find a home as the soundtrack to various things.

RyeGuyHead responds:

Things of a disturbing nature...thanks!

I like it a lot

I like it alot, but I've got to agree with some of the comments about the singing, occasionally it creeps out of tune. and I don't really like the elongated caaaaaaaalling faaaaaate part either, it feels like the vocals pops out of the tune a little too much. Overall though I like the vocals and the whole thing

I think some of the issues are probably a mix problem rather than an inherent issue.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks for your input. I disagree that the singing goes out of tune. But thanks again.

I usually don't like stuff like this...

but I really enjoyed that... it's helped me relax in work.

No ideas for improvement, I love it exactly how it is.

Thanks

Chinashima responds:

Glad you liked it :D thx

Relaxing

Not sure if it's just me and my speakers, but there seems to be a definate crackling issue. My only really criticism would be that the bass deosn't really change enough for my liking. I do really like the piano chords near the middle of the track.

Nice

Godknown responds:

So far, I tested it on four different sound sources (including headphones) and there was no crackling. I made sure that all levels were balanced, and the loudest the song got was 0.0 (no distortion.)

Thanks for the criticism. I agree, that the bass could have done more, but I just don't know exactly what. Thanks again, friendo!

Take care,

It's good

I very much like this, I like the feel and the mix of instrumentation. My only suggestion mix wise would be to do something about the drums, maybe put a bass drum in there. And it would be perfect if it did actually loop smoothly, but that should be an easy fix.

Good Job

Listenr responds:

Cool ty ill look into that :D

Pretty Cool

I like it, makes me want to do things, very quickly. What are the bowed sounds?

spamwangler responds:

tis an accorion

Not usually my thing

this was very enjoyable. what did you use to make this? I like the synth part, fits in without sounding at all cheesy and I like the way it sounds like it's in a massive space. Nice!

mistarogerz responds:

I used FL8 to lay down the beat. Then I broke out my Alvarez and recorded the guitar part with an effect pedal I had laying around. The Mastering was the trickiest part but after an hour or so I had it under control!

Love the sound

I LOVE the sound of this, what are you using to put it together? The way the instruments compliment each other is rather beautiful. Is it a clarinet that starts at around 2:35, really nice, counters the rest of the instruments wonderfully. I agree about the winter imagery, it most certainly has that feel to it and I can hear the zelda influences in there. My only suggestion would be the that it lacks a central theme, it has a lot of really good parts but I think it needs something to tie it all together and make it a bit more cohesive. On the whole though I think it sounds great and really would like to know what you're using to put it together?

Bloody Marvelous!

kentokhromatic responds:

I'm just using Finale right now!

I think I will always struggle with where is a good degree of theme; my teacher discourages me from literal repetitions or recapitulations, and encourages me to move more towards subliminal themes and taking priority the direction of music, to imitate more the flow of speech. The first motif in particular is hidden in the vocabulary of the other lines, where they are more subliminal and intuitive, save the middle section.

Nifty

I almost didn't like this, but then that awesome synth part started at around 40 seconds and I couldn't help myself. It does need vocals though otherwise it's too long.

izzparth responds:

Yeah
I'm looking for a verse over this for sure
